    Tomato juice anyone???

    Tomato is one of the most awesome fruit/vegetable that you can have and today i would like to share with you two recipes from two different sources.

    However, I would like to first highlight the benefits of tomato.

    It is full of vitamin A, B and C. Here is a breakdown of the amount if you are interested.  Tomato also have many curative benefits and help build up your immune system.  It is also one of the few fruits/vegetable that help to prevent cancer growth and is recommmended for cancer patients ( Tomato contains lycopenes and bioflavanoids)

    Tomato can be eaten raw or cooked in soup or other dishes. Cooking it bring out the sweetness in the fruit.


    Now for the 2 recipes that you can try at home
     
    1. Fresh Tomato Juice
    2. Bloody Mary
     
    Fresh Tomato Juice
     
    All you need is
     
    a. Three cups of chopped tomatoes
    b. Celery stick
    c. Three dash of tobasco
    d. half a tea spoon of sugar
    e. a dash of black pepper
    f. salt for flavor
    g. a blender or a juicer
     
    Take the three cups of chopped tomatoes, drop in three dash of tobasco and add sugar, pepper and salt. If you have a blendr you can just mix everything in including the celery and blend all. Serve the tomato juice cold and enjoy.
     
    If you have a juicer instead, juice the tomatoes,  drop in three dash of tobasco, the sugar, pepper and salt into the juice. Mix it together and serve it cold. Dip ur celery stick inside ur drink and enjoy. 
     
     
    A Bloody Mary
     
    Bloody Mary is a popular cocktail drink containing vodka, tomato juice, lemon juice and spices like worcestershire sauce, tabasco sauce, salt, black pepper, sugar .
     
    There are many variations of the bloody mary and you can check them all out here.
     
    Ingredients required
    a. 4.5 cl Vodka
    b. 9.0 cl Tomato juice
    c. 1.5 cl Lemon juice
    d. dashes of worchestershire sauce
    e. three drops of tabasco,
    f. salt and black pepper
    g. glass

    Add dashes of Worchestershire Sauce, Tabasco , salt and pepper into highball glass, then pour all ingredients into the glass with ice cubes. Stir gently. Garnish with Celery Salt and lemon wedge (optional).
