    My Dream House

Nowadays, the average house price across Selangor has shot up like a rocket. I recall when someone could buy a semi-detached house from Setia Alam and Shah Alam at approximately RM600k and even than we would still complain about the price and exclaim that he is a 'sohai' . Today, we are expected to buy a similar semi-detached house in Setia Alam and Shah Alam at approximately RM2 million. (who is the sohai now?).

I went house hunting this afternoon. Don't get the wrong idea as  I am  not about to move anytime soon. I was just surveying the property market. In the mid of surveying the property market, I found my dream house at Bukit Jelutong. I know it might not mean the same thing to you but for me, it was a slice of heaven on earth with a price tag of RM5 million.

After coming home, I read up about the houses at Bukit Jelutong and  there were many great reviews about Primo Bukit Jelutong.

This extract was taken from Chui Ling and really paints a vivid image of the luxurious lifestyle that awaits anyone who buys a house at Bukit Jelutong.

'The pleasure of driving down a tranquil road never diminishes here. And with only 26 houses in the development, you won’t find too many cars sharing the road with you. In fact, every development at The Enclave, where Primo is situated, is of low density. So your drives home are always pleasant.
As you approach your house and head into the driveway, a press of a remote initiates a whirr that ends in a satisfying click, the sound of your basement garage greeting your return.
After parking, a short stroll takes you to another button. You push this one as well, but this time a warm glow fills the room as your personal lift opens. As you exit onto the living room floor, you’ll find it tempting to while away the rest of the evening at the poolside terrace.
But perhaps, you think to yourself, tonight would be better spent with a book and a cigar. A quick walk upstairs takes you into your private lounge. Sinking into your leather armchair, you can’t help but feel the sense of satisfaction one gets from arriving home. And at Primo, when you do arrive, you do so in every sense of the word. '

    1. The property market here scares the living daylights out of me as well. It's one of those few things that you can complain about without someone older than you barging in on the conversation and going "Well, in MY day....". The house valuation on even the most basic property is crazy and I don't know how people are supposed to manage to get a foot on the ladder. Even if they save for years, they're going to find it really hard.

And I can definitely kiss goodbye to my dream of owning a house standing on its own little bit of land, the way that a lot of Canadian and American houses do.

    2. There's peace in that place! It shows in the photos. Which of those houses do you like most, btw? The second to the last photo clearly shows a luxurious living, with all those large window glasses, the pool and the dim lights! However, the first photo stresses out happy vibes at home because of the trees. Plus, the orange paint on the roof creates lively vibes!

    3. This is your dream houses? It's not surprising to see why! Just looking at these pictures tells me that living in a place like this is not a bad idea. Not to mention, the house looks nice and it must be nice to go the roof just to look at the scenery around, right?
